Written by Jonathan Swift, an Anglo-Irish satirist, author, essayist, poet, and Anglican cleric who became Dean of St Patrick's Cathedral, Dublin, "Dean Swift". CONDITION In the original full calf binding. Externally, worn with rubbing and bumping. Front board detached. Rear joint starting but firm. Minor loss to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with scattered spotting.
