1859 – Illustrated Natural History of the Animal Kingdom – Goodrich Vols 1 & 2
Two-volume original oversized 1859 hardcover set in acceptable condition. Volume I has cover off spine and front and rear covers are loose. Considerable wear on edges of covers. Contents in very good condition. Volume II has covers intact; considerable wear on edges. Volume II has the owner signature of Amos R. Little, Philadelphia, May 30, 1860. He was a Philadelphia merchant and future promoter and one of the directors of the 1876 Centennial International Exhibition, so a nice collector’s item. See photos. Many B&W illustrations.
