Pylon Faulkner 1935 1st Ed 1st Print Limited Ed W/DJ Advanced Copy RARE Overall very good condition for age. Upper left corner of dust jacket has tape, dust jacket complete with strong color, edge wear consistent with age. Book itself is clean inside and out, little indication of use. Binding strong. This is from a book collector estate; a card included inside states "1st ed., advance copy, stiff pictorial wrapper, N.Y., 1935 sold at auction 4-10-57 for $27.00" Also inside is a folded separate insert about Faulkner and his writings. The first page inside the cover includes a book description that appears to have been cut from the DJ inside fold and glued on. As found inside the back cover is a "Date Loaned" slip from a San Francisco bookstore or library. All noted in the photos.
