This is an issue of “Cre@te Online magazine – The best in new media design”. It is issue 33 published in December 2002. Create Online was a great magazine in the early 00’s, the post dot-com boom days where mobile phone technology hadn’t yet been disrupted by the iPhone, mobile web mostly consisted of WAP mini sites due to the high price and slow speed of data mobile plans. This particular issue has features about design, marketing gender in the new media design industry, hands on with MMS, CSS for pro design, spotlights on interesting website such as the Shimano XTR interactive site, Eurosport and more. There’s of course lots of great early 2000s internet technology company’s adverts which are pretty great to see. All in all an interesting cross section of the internet / technology cutting edge at the time.
